Cavit Wines Teams Up with Kannoli Kraze to Celebrate National Pinot Grigio Day with Limited-Time Cannolis

Port Washington, NY – (May 8, 2019) – Cavit Collection, makers of America’s #1 selling Italian wine brand*, is excited to celebrate National Pinot Grigio Day on May 17th with special limited-time Pinot Grigio cannolis.

Cavit is partnering with Kannoli Kraze from May 17-June 16 to offer custom-made desserts to mark the holiday. Wine lovers can choose from three different delicious twists on the classic Italian pastry, a traditional full-size or mini cannoli, a cannoli cake cup and a cannoli pop, all infused with Cavit’s famous Pinot Grigio. The Pinot Grigio-infused cannoli, cannoli cake cup and cannoli pop can be purchased at Kannoli Kraze’s Long Island store for $5.00 each and the cannoli mini is $2.00 each.  A six pack of cannoli pops or cannoli cake cups can be purchased at for $35.00 plus shipping.

Did you know that June 16 is National Cannoli Day? To celebrate, head on over to North Broadway in Massapequa where you’ll find Kannoli Kings, a new gourmet cannoli store which serves both sweet and savory cannoli.

Savory cannoli? Yes, you read that right. Kannoli Kings offers eight kinds of savory cannoli, seven kinds of sweet cannoli, and seven different types of shells to choose from.

Owner Sal Lo Piccolo founded Kannoli Kings—“Home of the Sweet and Savory Cannoli”–in 2013. Sal believed events around Long Island needed some good desserts, so he started making fresh, traditional cannoli, purchased a food truck, and headed to summer festivals and street fairs. What began as a traditional cannoli business transformed into something truly unique: He took unsweetened cannoli shells that were specially cut, and then stuffed them with all kinds of savory ingredients, using only the freshest and most flavorful products.
